This is inside the old powerplant. It stood unused for 20 years in this shape until the politicians dicided to rebuild it as a swimmingpool to the cost of 1000 000 euros. Now it is a sceleton. a monument over an idea lacking 500 000 euros in fundings.

This is the former Melker-office of ASEA, later ABB. Melker is the name of a giant in viking mythology. The office was a giant. The building to the right was the white-collars’ and the one to the left was the blues’.  More than 10% of the towns population was employed by ASEA. In the early days everybody came with bike to work. That is why I try to include one in the picture. It was known as the ASEA-stream. I also have a SАAB in the picture.

Это бывший офис Мэлкер фирмы ASEA, сейчас ABB. Мэлкер имя великана варяжское мифологии. Место работы настоящий великан по нашим мерам. Здане слева промышленность и справа администрациа. Более 10% население города работали на это место. В 50-ые годы работники приехали на работу на великах. Поэтому включил велик в кадре.  Велики были назавни поток ASEA.

Da newest hood. Build around the local sewer. Still the hottest place in t own. Wonder what a non smelling place would cost?
